Fresh Hair and Make up look...

Welcome back to An appetite for make up,

So if you have read my last post, you will know I had a bit of a spree in House of Frazer!! oooppss ha. So with my new products I thought I would write a post about how to achieve a fresh, radiant and youthful hair and make up look. Hope you enjoy.

So firstly I primed my face with this serum from Estee Lauder called the Idealist!!, its amazing just makes my skin even and ready for makeup.

Secondly, I moisturised my face with the Hydrationist moisturiser which basically does exactly what it says on the tin!

I then applied Double Wear concealer on the the parts of my face I need a little more coverage and to the parts of my face I want to highlight and brighten.
These places are under my eyes, on my forehead, down the centre on my nose, on my chin and on my cupids bow.

I then put the Double wear foundation every where else on my face.

I then used a damp beauty blender to blend everything in, this is my favourite way to blend my foundation in because I feel it gives are really nice finish, sometimes I feel that when I use a brush, the brush catches the dryer parts of my face and showcases these parts.

I then set all of my foundation and concealer with the double Wear Powder, I just use a little as if I use too much, this product also extenuates the dryness.

I usually use brow waxes or brow powders to fill in my brows however with this being a fresh make up look, I didn't want my brows to be to over done, so I decided to just use this Rimmel brow pencil in the shade blonde, I just lightly filled in the brows to make them look just a little fuller.

Again not wanting to go to heaver on the eye shadow, I opted for these colour tattoos, I love these products and have them in so many colours.
I decided to just sweep the shade Pink Gold over my lid and then go in with On And On Bronze just putting this on the outer edge and in the crease to create a little definition.

I then added a little mascara to my top and bottom lashes.

I then added a little colour to my face with this bronzer from Lord & Berry, which I received as a sample in one of my Glossyboxes which I may have to purchase again.

I then used Nars Laguna blush, which is famous in the beauty world, I love the flecks of gold within it, because of these I just skipped the highlighter today, as this acts as one on my skin tone.

I went in with Mac's lip liner in Soar, this is the perfect nude colour for my skin tone when I pair it with pink nude lipsticks.

I paired it with Mac's Speed Dial.

AND FOR THE HAIR........,

So this is really simple and can be done within minutes which is why I wear it quite alot,
I twisted the front part of my hair, however I just watched a youtube video by Lilith  Moon and she explains if better than I ever could.
Its ever so simple, however this can be done with a plait to and would look just as stunning.
Please watch this video to find out how to do the twist, she is an amazing hair artist.

So once you have your twist or plait, just scoop all your hair over to the side and start to twist.

Eventually if you keep twisting, it will twist in on itself once this happens just  curl your hair round making a side bun, use a bobble the same colour as your hair and secure with bobby pins as needed.

I like to add a flower to make it a bit more interesting.

Thankyou so much for reading.

Please comment down below telling me, what your go to hair look is when you don't have much time.

Love
